The Seiko Presage Sakura By Night Watch is an elegant men’s timepiece. It is inspired by the delicate night time view of “Sakura” – cherry blossom – the infamous symbol of Spring in Japan. Case, Blue Open Heart Dial, Strap

Firstly, the 41.8mm stainless steel case has clean lines. Secondly, the ink blue dial has a rich texture that echoes a Karesansui or Zen garden. Consequently, the texture evokes gravel raked into serene patterns like waves or rippling water. Additionally, applied rose gold tone roman numerals remind us that less is more and add to the minimalist feel. Similarly, they reflect the pink colour of cherry blossom. Also, the rose gold tone hands are elegant in shape and complement the dial. Moreover, a circular open heart aperture in the dial reveals the beating heart of the watch. Also, a circular 24 hour indicator is positioned just above the open heart. The positioning of these two circles and the juxtaposition with the vertical lines on the dial are characteristic of the view of a Japanese Garden through a round window.
