This handsome Seiko Presage Style 60’s ‘Stone’ Road Trip GMT Watch is from the Presage Style 6o’s collection. Practical and modern with vintage 1960s looks, this model takes its inspiration from a road trip in an iconic 1960s car. The wheels, levers and instruments and colour scheme all influence the styling of this watch.

Automatic Movement

Equipped with an automatic 4R34 calibre, the watch has a power reserve of up to 41 hours. Also, it’s possible to manually wind the watch and you can feel the strong torque of the winding mechanism when you grip the crown. The main feature is the GMT indicator which displays a second time zone. You can adjust the 24-hour hand by pulling the crown out to the first click and turning it clockwise.

Case, 60’s Style Stone GMT Dial

The 40.8mm circular case of the Seiko Presage Style 60’s ‘Stone’ Road Trip GMT Watch is in stainless steel with a fixed bezel with 24 hour scale. The bezel has black and brown sections to indicate night and day. Hairline finishing gives the case a machine-like, automotive feel. Also, the dial is in a ‘stone’ grey colour (view dark blue dial version here) which is a shade taken from 1960s sports cars. Moreover, ivory Lumibrite on the hands and hour markers adds to the vintage look with no compromise on practicality. Also, applied silver faceted hour indexes and a gauge-like minute track are another nod to the retro heritage of the piece. Finally, a perforated black leather strap completes the look and a solid pin buckle secures it to the wrist.
