Firstly, equipped with an automatic calibre 4R35 movement, the Seiko Presage Zen Garden Watch has a power reserve of up to 41 hours. Also, it’s possible to manually wind the watch. Additionally, the 40.5mm case is in stainless steel and has a see-through caseback so that the intricacies of the movement can be appreciated. Furthermore, the blue dial has a delicate pressed pattern with applied steel hour indexes and hands which complement the case (view version with open aperture here). Moreover, the indexes have an attractive marbled finish which as part of the Zen Garden theme, are reminiscent of moss or stepping stones over calm water. The second hand is in a dark grey finish which contrasts with the white of the hour and minute hands. Finally, the bracelet is in stainless steel and has a folding clasp with push button release for security.
