This Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver Watch has echoes of Seiko’s original 1965 diver model. However, the case shape of the SPB051J1 has been brought  right up to date with a sleek and contemporary silhouette. A Zaratsu polished line on the edge of the case also adds a touch of refinement. 42.6mm in diameter, the case is comfortable on the wrist and blends seamlessly into the bracelet. The bracelet has similarly been designed with comfort and practicality in mind and has a secure folding clasp with extender so that the watch can fit over a wetsuit.

Diving features

Water resistant to 200 m/660 ft the Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver Watch has all the attributes you expect from a professional Diver’s watch. The jet black dial and uni-directional turning bezel, provide maximum contrast to the hour markers and hands. Coated in Lumibrite, they are visible even in poor light. Additionally, a legible minute track is at the extreme edge of the dial and a date display at 3 o’clock is a useful feature. The dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and therefore improve legibility.

Equipped with an automatic 6R15 calibre movement, the watch has a power reserve of approx. 50 hours.
