Seiko Prospex “King” Samurai

This Seiko Prospex “King” Samurai Diver Watch is as distinctive as it is functional. Nicknamed “Samurai” by Seiko fans because of its sword shaped hands, it has a distinctive case with chamfered edges where the case meets the bracelet. Although outwardly similar in looks to the Turtle, it is this contouring which gives the Samurai a more contemporary look and ultimately makes it feel bigger on the wrist. It is however, still very comfortable to wear.

Dial, Bracelet, Crown

Water resistant to 200 m/660 ft the “King” Sumurai has all the attributes you would expect from a professional Diver’s watch. Firstly, the black dial has a graphic looking grid pattern and high-visibility hour markers and hands coated in Lumibrite. Secondly, a legible minute track is also at the extreme edge of the dial. Additionally, the dial is surrounded by a uni-directional turning bezel in black. Furthermore, the brushed stainless steel bracelet has a three-fold clasp with secure lock and push button release. Moreover, the substantial screw-down crown has a grid pattern for improved grip. Finally, the watch has a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.
