This Seiko Prospex King Turtle Watch is perfect for the diver or outdoor explorer. Inspired by a popular Seiko model from the 1970’s, the Turtle has a large cushion shaped case reminiscent of the shape of a turtle’s shell. Although 45mm in diameter, the case is heavily contoured which makes it feel more comfortable than you would expect for a watch of this size.

Water Resistance, Dial, Movement

Firstly, water resistant to 200 m/660 ft the Seiko Prospex King Turtle Watch has all the attributes you would expect from a professional Diver’s watch. Secondly, the newly restyled black dial really stands out with a block textured pattern (view green dial version here). Also, it has high-visibility hour markers and hands coated in Lumibrite. Furthermore, a legible minute track is at the extreme edge of the dial. Moreover, a black ceramic uni-directional turning bezel surrounds the dial. Finally, a day/date window at 3 o’clock is a useful addition and a magnifier in the sapphire crystal ensures it can be clearly seen.
