This Seiko Prospex PADI “King” Samurai Diver Watch is as distinctive as it is functional.

Nicknamed “Samurai” by Seiko fans because of its sword shaped hands, it has a distinctive case with chamfered edges where the case meets the bracelet. Although outwardly similar in looks to the Turtle, it is this contouring which gives the Samurai a more contemporary look and ultimately makes it feel bigger on the wrist. It is however, still very comfortable to wear.

Dial, Strap, Crown

Water resistant to 200 m/660 ft the “King” Samurai has all the attributes you would expect from a professional Diver’s watch. Firstly, the black dial has light blue highlights and features the PADI ‘Earth’ pattern. Also, it has high-visibility hour markers and hands coated in Lumibrite. Secondly, a legible minute track is also at the extreme edge of the dial. Additionally, the dial is surrounded by a uni-directional turning bezel in black ceramic. Furthermore, the practical black silicone strap has a three-fold clasp with secure lock and push button release. Moreover, the substantial screw-down crown has a grid pattern for improved grip. Finally, the watch has a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.
