The Seiko Speedtimer, first launched in 1969, was the world’s first ever automatic chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch. The brand’s strong innovative watchmaking heritage is continued into the present day with this classic chronograph design. However, this latest version, comes with a modern twist – it’s conveniently solar-powered, harnessing energy from both natural and electric light sources. This Speedtimer Limited Edition is inspired by the aesthetic of 1960s red classic European cars.

Solar Movement, Features, Dial

Firstly, powered by a quartz solar movement calibre V192, the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer in Factory Red boasts impressive accuracy at +/- 15 seconds per month. Also, with a fully charged battery, it operates seamlessly for up to 6 months. Furthermore, encased in stainless steel, the watch has a tachymeter bezel. Moreover, it includes a 24-hour hand, a chronograph capable of measuring up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments, and a handy date display.

Protected by a curved sapphire crystal, the Speedtimer Limited Edition comes with a 2omm wide stainless steel bracelet featuring a three-fold clasp with a push-button release.
