This Seiko 5 Sports Lee Limited Edition is one of seven designs inspired by the creative world of internationally renowned Japanese manga and anime: Boruto & Naruto. Echoing the stories of personal, moral and social development, each timepiece represents one of the key Ninja characters. Whether through the vibrant colour combinations of the dials, bezels and straps or other symbolic design elements, each character is brought to life on the wrist.

Boruto & Naruto

NARUTO was first broadcast in Japan in 2002. Subsequently, it was introduced abroad and has since fascinated fans globally. BORUTO is the sequel to the series and centres on Naruto’s son, Boruto Uzumaki. LEE is a character from NARUTO. Find out more about the characters behind each of the designs here.

Case, Dial, Nato Strap, Movement

Firstly, the stainless steel case has a black hard coating and is 42.5mm in diameter. Secondly, the dial is in a green sunray finish. Similarly, the uni-directional bezel is also green. White detailing on one side represents Lee’s bandages whilst the symbols on the bezel represent “The Eight Inner Gates”. The hands and indices are luminous to ensure the dial is easy to read. Additionally, a day and date indicator is a useful feature and is common to all Seiko 5 watches. Furthermore, the position of the screw-down crown at 4 o’clock is also a key trait of a Seiko 5. Finally, a stylish green and orange nylon NATO strap completes the look.

Equipped with an automatic calibre 4R36, the movement can be viewed through the exhibition caseback. Moreover, the watch has a 41 hour power reserve. Also, a stop seconds function means that it is possible to halt the movement within the watch when setting the time.

Limited to 6,500 pieces, the Seiko 5 Sports Lee Watch is a dynamic timepiece for the creative man. Covered by a Two Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, it is presented in a special box inspired by the Earth and Heaven Scrolls from the Chunin Exams, a widescale examination used to test the skill of junior Ninja.
