The TW Steel Maverick Black Dial Chronograph takes a modern twist on a vintage style. Created with a simpler, pared-back look, the Maverick retains all the bold attitude of TW Steel.
Firstly, the case is 45mm in diameter. In black PVD coated stainless steel, it has a stealthy, enigmatic look. This is complemented by the hands which are in dark grey. The centre seconds hand has an open circle at the tip which is an nod to traditional watch design. Additionally, the heavy-duty screw-down crown is in a vintage shape and is embossed with the TW emblem. A ridged pattern makes it easy to grip. Similarly, the pushers have a large, flat surface area to make them easy to use. The ribbed design on the sides is also a nice vintage touch.
Secondly, the matt black dial has a combination of bold, arabic numbers and hour indexes in dark grey. The chronograph sub dials are deliberately subtle. They do not have defined circles around each one which enables them to blend into the dial. Additionally, a grey printed tachymeter scale on the outside edge is for measuring speed. Moreover, the addition of a date indicator at 3 o’clock is also a useful feature.
Finally, the milanese mesh bracelet is in black PVD. The clasp is easily adjusted so that you can obtain the perfect fit and a safety catch secures it to the wrist.

Arrived sooner than expected which was great but would have appreciated an email that it had been shipped. RM just sent an em that a “parcel” was being delivered but could not tell us from whom. Scam packages requiring duties and other charges are a current problem in our rural area.
