The Citizen Promaster Diver Automatic White Dial Watch draws on the history of the iconic Promaster. Originally used by the Italian Navy, 1989 saw its release for a new generation of dive enthusiasts. The new Promaster Automatic is equipped with all the features you’d expect from an ISO compliant diving watch.
Stainless Steel Case, Dial, Crown
Firstly, made from silver tone stainless steel, the 3-part, 44mm case has a distinctive serrated bezel. Inspired by a fugu (the Japanese name for pufferfish), the black rotating bezel is easy to grip. Similarly, the oversized crown is also designed for ease of use. Located at 8 o’clock for comfort reasons, it has a cross-hatched pattern to prevent slipping.
Secondly, the white dial has a black minute track around the outer edge (view black dial version here). Additionally, the hands and indices are luminous for improved visibility. Also, the centre seconds hand has a red arrow-shaped tip to make it easy to see at a glance. Furthermore, a day/date indicator at 3 o’clock is a useful feature.
Bracelet, Water Resistance, Movement
The stainless steel bracelet is smart and durable in a matt finish and secures to the wrist with a folding clasp. Moreover, water resistant to 20 bars (200m), the Promaster has a screwed caseback with pufferfish engraving.
Equipped with an automatic movement, the Promaster Diver Automatic White Dial Watch has a 42 hour power reserve.
Finally, for a really special touch, it is presented an exclusive collector’s dive tank style box.
