The Raymond Weil Freelancer Silver Dial Bracelet Watch opens its heart to you. An open aperture in the dial reveals the balance wheel in its entirety. However, for a full view of the RW1212 calibre in action, the watch can be flipped over and the movement viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback.

Firstly, the refined 42.5mm polished stainless steel case has a yellow gold PVD bezel and is ergonomic in design. Secondly, the silver dial has elegantly-shaped hour indexes in gold PVD. Additionally, the tips of each hour index along with the hour and minute hands are lined with white luminescent treatment. Consequently, their visibility is enhanced in poor light. Furthermore, the crown screws-down to the case and is embossed with the RW logo. Similarly, the caseback is also screwed and has a sapphire crystal to allow a view of the movement. Finally, a two tone stainless steel and yellow gold PVD bracelet completes the look. A folding clasp with double push buttons secures it to the wrist.

Automatic Movement, Calibre RW1212

The Freelancer Calibre RW1212 is Raymond Weil’s first in-house movement. Designed in-house, it is manufactured through an exclusive partnership with movement manufacturer, Sellita. Furthermore, the name picks up the address of the address of the company: Switzerland 1212, standing for the Geneva suburb Grand-Lancy. With a 38 hour power reserve, it is also water resistant to 10 bars (100m) with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
